Responsibilities

The project manager will lead a team at the client site on a multi-generation RIA application delivery and support project. The PM will have management responsibility in the full lifecycle of the project, including planning, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, rollout and support. The PM will be expected to hold scrum meetings and status reviews and provide the client with a weekly written status report. Must be able to work with the offshore team.

Required

• 8 to 10 years of technical project management experience

• Knowledge of end-to-end software project delivery life-cycle

• Experience with .NET/Flex/Java applications and solutions

• Support and Development experience

• Experience with Agile and Scrum project management approaches

• Experienced in planning and managing initiatives

• Strong leadership qualities

• Ability to effectively work with different types of business users, negotiate delivery dates, estimate timelines for backlog items and share information with the client

• Ability to motivate consulting team members, understand and set priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent client management and client-facing consulting skills

• Excellent communication skills – Written, Verbal and documentation

• PMI - PMP Certification
