Senior Analyst reports to analyst lead, data analytics manager or project manager

Proactively identify and escalate disruptions to critical customer requirements before they hinder the supply chain and manufacturing operations.

Communicate with client and procurement managers to understand supply chain requirements.

Perform trend and root cause analysis and highlight areas of concern
-
Recognize the potential for cost and inventory reductions, quality improvements and supply chain gaps
-
Collaborate with buyers and supplier development engineers to ensure continuous improvement.

Conduct data regression and stratification
-
Analyze documentation and agreements and commodity index tracking
-
Acquire an understanding of governmental, environmental, political and geographic factors and develop predictive models highlighting potential threats to the supply chain
-
Develop analytical and modeling tools to generate predictive reports and areas of concern
-
Perform advanced analytical and administrative tasks in support of supply chain initiative
-
Build strong relationships with international points of contact and communicate on a regular basis

Develop hypothesis and suggested causes for supply chain disruptions (historic and forecasted)
Required

10+ years senior analyst experience
-
Expert with Microsoft Access 2007, Excel and Microsoft Project

Knowledge of Cognos, EIM, Business Objects

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
